Where has the time gone? I have just realised it is 10 days since I last blogged.  I am slipping already! My new shifts are not bad but they are playing havoc with my home life because I am not used to having just one day off at a time.  Normally, I get 2-4 days off in a week so my body and mind are protesting.  Well, they are just gonna have to get used to it.  In the meantime, I should be thankful that the boss is home more so there is less responsibilty on me to 'keep house' so I can concentrate on here and my crafty bits :)
I have managed a little bit of 'paperwork' though. Below is my Aunties leaving card....herself and the family are defecting to Sweden tomorrow.

All products are Papermania (as they usually are with me) and the spray pattern at the back is my new found love affair with Smooch Spritz. Got the Grape colour as I have always wanted to try it and figured the colour went well with the new Fairytale range.  Well, I can safely say I LOVE it and will be dragging the boss to my local craft shop on pay day to buy up some more colours.  Shame I have coloured everything within spitting distance of the card.....as my colleague helpfully pointed out last night, I should lay some newspaper down!!!!!!  Whoops!
I love the effect and I also love how the peel off looks with the light shining off it.  I have no idea how I achieved it but since it was mid afternoon when I took the pictures, I figure the low sun had a little to do with it.

I have also remembered to upload the picture of my hat I knitted. It is an old Sublime pattern using their Kid Mohair wool which was lovely to knit with.

mmmm...Doesn't look too bad on in this picture.  Everytime I look in the mirror, it looks a little big.  I am not surprised at that since my knitting is still sporadic so my confidence is not great, but I can honestly say, I am really pleased with how this turned out.
