Christmas 2009...and JYC yippee :)

mmmm, 1st December and I have yet to start my Christmas cards. Which is what I should be doing now actually. In my chilly craft room with a smelly heater to keep me warm.

But the 1st Dec means JYC prompts......this being my nice fat free advent calender this year so of course, I have been browsing the forum instead and thinking on my manifesto.



I know when I signed up to do the class, my main objective was to help me stay organised as we have my parents this year. However, as the days have worn on and I have been looking at some old JYC albums on the forum ( I am a JYC virgin, u see), I like the idea of recording memories of past Christmases, since I have a poor memory and unfortunately, no children with whom to make Christmas what it should be (the boss can be a bit bah humbug!).

So, this year, I am going to try and recapture the Christmas spirit that I used to always embody and hopefully, by the 25th, I will feel sparkly instead of just hungover! I will record the things that make it feel like Christmas (Only Fools and Horses specials anyone?), pictures that bring back memories and just general Christmas excitement.
